NEW YORK – October 16, 2024 – Smartling, Inc., the LanguageAI translation company, today announced David Paré as general manager of life sciences. Paré, who uses a client-first perspective and deep industry experience to meet extremely challenging client requirements, will build Smartling’s new regulated industries division.

Paré comes to Smartling with more than 20 years of experience as a sales leader for some of the largest language service providers and has built and maintained relationships with many of the most influential healthcare and life science companies around the world. Before joining Smartling, Paré served as vice president of sales for RWS, where he received a long list of sales leadership awards, including the CEO Club Award and the Highest Growth Year-over-Year, Salesperson of the Year and Top Global Revenue awards.
